Are you ready to discover the heroes’ potion with a unique visual and taste experience? For that, it’s up to you to gently pour the first mix of 1883 Tonic Syrup: cucumber, lemongrass and lime on the butterfly pea & Sechuan button infused vodka. Now, prepare yourself for a surprising taste with an electric impact and tonic overtones. Then you can enjoy a succession of dehydrated cucumber chips, fluid lime gel and 1883 Tonic Syrup, Sechuan pepper.

The complexity of the 1883 Tonic Syrup mixed with the Ethiopian coffee and its acidic notes bring a wealth of emotions to this extremely simple beverage, that is out of the ordinary. The fizz gives a sensation of freshness enhanced by the bitter- sweet notes of the tonic.

 

Pairing

 

Here is a series of dried cucumber chips, fluid lime gel and 1883 Tonic Syrup, Sechuan pepper.

 

RECIPES

Heroes’ Potion

 

50ml Butterfly pea and Sechuan flower-infused Vodka,

10ml 1883 Tonic Syrup

2 slices crushed cucumber,

3cm crushed lemongrass stick

20ml fresh lime juice

 

Pour the infused vodka into the glass, and add the clear ice cube. In the mixing glass, mash the cucumber and lemongrass then add the 1883 Tonic Syrup and lime juice. Double strain the mixture into a small balancing dish on the glass. Finish with a twist of lime.

TECHNIQUE: DIRECT TO GLASS

GARNISH: LIME PEEL

 

Butterfly pea and Sechuan button infused vodka

 

1 bottle vodka (700ml)

6 Sechuan buttons

5 Butterfly pea

Crush the flowers and mix them with the vodka. Let infuse at room temperature for 48 hours and double strain. Put the butterfly pea and let infuse 30 minutes at room temperature and double strain. Store at room temperature.

 

 

Nitro-tonic Espresso

 

100ml Ethiopian espresso

20ml 1883 Tonic Syrup

 

Pressurize in a nitro cold brew syphon with CO2. Pour all ingredients directly into the nitro cold brew cylinder. Pressurize with CO2 and hold in an ice bucket. Serve directly on a large clear ice cube.
